Product Name |
Tn5 Transposase |
Size |
100 µg |
Description |
Tn5 Transposase is a hyperactive, recombinant enzyme derived from the Tn5 transposon of Escherichia coli. It catalyzes the efficient, sequence-independent integration (“tagmentation”) of double-stranded DNA by simultaneously fragmenting and tagging DNA with sequencing adapters. Tn5 is widely used in next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation workflows, including ATAC-seq, ChIPmentation, and other applications where rapid and uniform DNA fragmentation and tagging are required.
