Background |
B7 homolog 6 (B7-H6) is a recently identified member of the B7 family, expressed on the surface of tumor cells. B7-H6 contributes to tumorigenesis by inhibiting apoptosis, promoting proliferation, and modulating immune responses. B7-H6 is considered a promising biomarker and therapeutic target for cancer immunotherapy, diagnostics, and prognostics.
